Distance based delivery rates for Shopify

With Zapiet - Rates by Distance, you can configure:

• Straight line calculation
• Driving route calculation

Driving route calculation can further be configured with:

• Best driving route - determined by Google Maps
• Fastest driving route - fastest, but not necessarily the shortest
• Shortest driving route - shortest, but not necessarily the fastest

With this app, you can set up price-based and weight-based rates calculated by the distance between your location and the customer’s address. You can also add a base delivery fee, an extra charge per distance unit to each rate, as well as a maximum delivery rate.

Yes, you can change settings such as distance, weight, and currency units on the Settings page.

If you subscribed to the app after April 2025 and have usage charges enabled, your store will automatically use Google Maps for route and address calculations. You’ll be billed $0.10 per distance-based rate calculation, which will be added to your monthly subscription fee. There is no need to create your own Google Maps API key.

It depends. We recommend setting up your delivery locations and rates to avoid overlap whenever possible. However, if multiple locations cover the same delivery area, the app will still calculate rates and automatically use the delivery location closest to the customer’s address.

Yes. Once installed, Zapiet - Rates by Distance should be added as a carrier in Shopify when the app is installed and enabled.
